Garrigill warmly welcomes our new pub hosts Kenny and Paula

The George & Dragon is now well and truly open for business. Kenny and Paula have been extra busy refitting the bar and beer cellar and making cheery improvements to the decor. Although it will be a little while before the kitchen is up and running, there are light refreshments and a fine range of local ales, wines and spirits. Please do give Kenny and Paula your regular and lasting support and help them give Garrigill the pub it deserves - permanently!

After many years of fundraising, 2012 saw Garrigill Village Hall closed for major refurbishment. We now have a fully modernised building, warm, light and welcoming. The Hall enhances village life with a pleasant environment for meeting, interacting and strengthening community ties. From hosting live bands, parties and theatre to film club and supper evenings, the Hall plays host to a multitude of events and is available for private hire, overnight stays and daytime use. We also offer bunkroom and camping facilities as well as electric bike hire.
